UNICEF on Thursday (January 3rd) handed over a total of 5 Land cruiser jeeps and 17 DT-branded motorcycles to certain health facilities in North Kivu province. The handover ceremony took place at the governorate's esplanade in the presence of the governor, Nzanzu Kasivita Carly.

This donation is part of the Agency's strengthening and development of access to care especially in North Kivu province.

Dr. Moses Kanyere, Provincial Minister of Health, indicated that these devices will be distributed in all health areas of the province, including those of Kyondo and Vuhovi in Beni territory as well as some blood transfusion centres of the Butembo, to improve the health situation.
