In his speech called "to the nation" on 30 December, Martin Fayulu, one of the leaders of the Lamuka platform and unfortunate candidate for the 2018 presidential election, announced a march of indignation and mourning for the Congolese killed in Beni and elsewhere on 17 January throughout the DRC and the diaspora.
"We will walk to tell the world that we are now awake, stand up, determined and marching to save our homeland in danger," he said.
Martin Fayulu invited the Congolese to wear the white headbands on the day of the march. "Let's be like Lumumba," he said.
In his speech, Martin Fayulu lambasted the management of Felix Tshisekedi and invited him to ask forgiveness from the Congolese for stealing the power of the people.
