Lamuka's presidential candidate, Martin Fayulu, and the current coordinator of this political platform, Adolphe Muzito, have been staying since Tuesday 24 December in Beni, North Kivu province. This morning, they are taking part in a Christmas Mass at the Paida parish in Beni city.

It is worth recalling that Martin Fayulu and Adolphe, who are accompanied by several other elected officials from Lamuka, are there to celebrate together with the people of Beni, victims of the repeated massacres of The ADF rebels.

Upon his arrival yesterday, Martin Fayulu held a popular meeting at the Nyamwisi roundabout, during which he stressed that "those who kill in Beni are not Congolese because someone cannot kill his own brother".

According to the man known as the people's soldier, massacres persist in this part of the country because the DRC has illegitimate rulers.
