In a greeting to Congolese on Tuesday (December 31st), Georges Kapiamba's NGO Association Congolese Association for Access to Justice (ACAJ) calls on Congolese to mobilize to stop the spread of corruption in the head of the Country.
ACAJ's call comes a year after governance under the FCC-CACH coalition. For this NGO, corruption is a social and economic cancer to fight.
"The ACAJ calls for citizen mobilization to combat corruption that is advancing and developing ostensibly in the DRC. Corruption has no colour, ethnicity or provincial origin," reads the ACAJ greeting to your editor.
Based on the UN Charter on Respect for Fundamental Freedoms, Georges Kapiamba's NGO demands sanctions on all perpetrators of corruption.
"This is a social and economic cancer that imposes exemplary sanctions against all those who have made it authors," the ACAJ asks.
As a reminder, several corruption cases were decried during 2019, Felix Tshisekedi's first year at the head of the nation, including the case 15 million retrocommission and 200 million at Gecamines, a file that the ACAJ follows closely.
