Kinshasa: Gentiny Ngobila decrees « road courtesy » until 10 January

The governor of the city-province of Kinshasa, Gentiny Ngobila Mbaka, on Monday (December 30th) suspended all traffic control operations by the Traffic Police (PCR), decreeing "road courtesy" until 10 January 2020.

This news was communicated to law enforcement officers during a parade held on Monday, December 30, by the provincial commissioner of the PNC, Sylvano Kasongo. The latter instructed its proteges to make drivers aware of compliance with the traffic code to prevent road traffic accidents in the capital.

It should be noted that during "road courtesy" the elements of the PCR should not sanction traffic tickets or carry out the control of the flight documents.
