The elements of the Congolese National Police (PNC) have just neutralized and subdued the policeman "described as crazy by the hierarchy" who had seized a weapon and allegedly fired in all directions on the avenue of oil mills at the Lufungula camp, at the gombe, Lingwala and Kinshasa. This is reported by several concurring sources contacted by Koonexion.net.
In his Twitter account, Stanis Bujakira, the journalist from News. CD, announces that 2 unidentified people have succumbed to injuries as a result of the bullets received.
"A police officer is reportedly shooting in all directions on Oilries Avenue, at Camp Lufungula. Two people are already believed to have died of their gunshot wounds," the statement read on Twitter.
Meanwhile, calm has returned to this corner of the capital and investigations are continuing to clarify the situation.
